Today we have been having lessons in the school with our partners. Some went to Niles North and the others to Niles West. We have taken all the lessons as our classmates and we have enjoyed it so much! We've been able to learn about the differences between the Spanish and the American education. Something curious of American classes is that you can bring your own food or drink in some classes and you have 40 min to chill or wathever you want. After that, we have had a pizza party for dinner, in a pizza restaurant, with some teachers and families. We could eat the typical Chicago pizza, known as "deep dish". It is about tasty pizzas and we also had cool salads. It's a cute place and the waiters are friendly. We are having really fun!!!!!!

FIRST TUESDAY
The bus got us in the morning and we went downtown. We left the bus and went to the top of the Willis tower.: 103 floors!!! We saw the entire city from up there and took loads of pictures. Then we returned to the ground floor, we waited for a few minutes. After that, we walked to Thompson center. After lunch, we met a tour guide there. We went to the city hall, then saw the Picasso (one of the symbols of the city) and the Cultural Center, where we could see, once more, nice architecture and the Tiffany's glass dome. Later, we took the bus to return to the school.
When we were there, I met my partner and I went to the mall that is very close to the school. When we were there, we met up with her friends and we ate a pizza. After this, we returned to the school and we went to her rehearsal, where I had a really good time and met a lot of people.
FIRST MONDAY
Today we went to the city of Chicago to spend our day. We met at school at 8:15 and we went to Millenium park, where we had a little break to take photos or to visit some places. Then we went to the Art Institute of Chicago and we really enjoyed it: there were such amazing pictures, installation Art, an exhibit about Van Gogh's rooms, ...
At midday we had lunch together by the "bean" and when we were finishing we heard some people singing gospel, so we went to listen to them and we talked with them.
Afterwards we visited a little mall and we had a lot of fun there meeting people and talking to our exchange partners.

ALREADY THERE!!!
Today we have travelled in Chicago.
We met at 4a.m. at Barcelona airport and we took a plane at 6a.m. to go to Amsterdam. It was a 2 hours journey more or less.
When we arrived, we waited for the other plane playing cards, playing with the mobile phones or at the cafe with the friends.
Later, we took another plane to go to Chicago. It took off at 12:40 a.m. and we arrived at 23:00 p.m. (in Spanish hour) and at 4p.m. (in American hour). In the plane there were screens where we could play, watch films or listen to music. We also had food and drinks now and then so, the trip was not that long....
From the airport to the school we went in a typical yellow school bus with Susan, one of the American teachers. We met in the school our exchange partners...
